               This memorandum is to request that the following measures be placed on the May 5^th legislative meeting agenda:

 

• COVID-19 Liability Clarification Emergency Declaration Resolution of 2020
• COVID-19 Liability Clarification Emergency Amendment Act of 2020
• COVID-19 Liability Clarification Temporary Amendment Act of 2020

 

 

               These measures clarify civil liability provisions for an entity that donates goods to the District.  The bill as adopted on April 20, 2020 inadvertently left out the word “donation” in describing the applicability of the provision.
