Subject: Additional Amendment regarding QHTC

 

We have just been informed by OCFO that the amendment made to QHTC at first reading was drafted in a way that it inadvertently repealed more than it was intended to.  Despite multiple reviews, OCFO informed us at 5:19pm of the problem.  We are reviewing the amendment and then running it though our Budget Office and General Counsel to make sure it is done right.  Without the amendment, there could be an issue in balancing so it is necessary.  I will send the language out when we get it.  Sorry again for this late email but we just got the amendment.
