You are receiving this email in response to your request to testify at the Committee of the Whole’s upcoming hearing on Fiscal Year 2022 Budget: Education Agencies.

IMPORTANT: To complete your registration and receive your personalized Zoom link, you must complete the form at https://dccouncil-us.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_UaPXV0P_SzmZ13a5KeifUQ by 5:00 p.m. on June 2, 2021. Only those individuals who previously signed up through the Chairman’s website and complete the Zoom registration by that time will be on the final witness list.

If you do not receive a link after completing the form, check your spam folder (the email will be Committee of the Whole (no-reply@zoom.us)). Do not share your personalized link.

The final witness list will be posted to http://www.ChairmanMendelson.com/circulation by 9:00 a.m. Thursday, June 3, 2021. The hearing will only be broadcast on www.ChairmanMendelson.com/Live.

On Thursday, shortly before the hearing starts, you should use the personalized link to log into Zoom. You will be in a waiting room until the hearing begins (it can take a few minutes to prepare the hearing for streaming). When the Chairman gavels the hearing to order, you will be admitted to the hearing as in viewer-only mode. When your name is called, you will be promoted to the interactive portion of the hearing where you will be able to provide your testimony and answer any questions from Councilmembers. You should plan on 3 minutes to testify. Please watch the hearing in Gallery View so you can watch the timer while you are testifying.

Make sure to mute yourself unless you are speaking, and please enable your camera when you are admitted into the interactive area. When your testimony is complete and any questions from Councilmembers have concluded, staff will change your role back to an attendee so you can continue watching the hearing in real time if you wish.
