               The following measures are placed the August 3, 2021 additional legislative meeting:

 

§  PR 24-271, Fiscal Year 2022 Local Budget Emergency Declaration Resolution of 2021

§  Bill 24-281, Fiscal Year 2022 Local Budget Emergency Act of 2021

 

               The measures listed above were introduced at the request of the Mayor on May 27, 2021 to enact the local budget on an emergency basis because the Fiscal Year 2022 Local Budget Act of 2021 is unlikely to complete congressional review before October 1, 2021.  The version, as introduced, is identical to the local budget act, as introduced.

 

               Please note that I will move an Amendment in the Nature of a Substitute (ANS) for each of these items at next week’s meeting; the ANS versions will circulate on Monday, August 2, 2021 and will be identical to any amendment in the nature of a substitute for the underlying local budget act.
