The Chairman intends to move an amendment to the Fairness in Renting Emergency and Temporary Amendment Acts tomorrow to strike lines 48 through 60. As indicated in the rationale, this is being done because the notice requirement in the Fairness in Renting bill is inconsistent with what Council adopted in the Public Emergency Extension and Eviction and Utility Moratorium Phasing Emergency Amendment Act of 2021.
