Dear Early Learning Community,

 

Many early childhood educators in DC are eligible to receive up to $14,000 through the Early Childhood Pay Equity Fund!

 

The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) and AidKit, the organization that will administer supplemental payments, will host two information sessions for early childhood educators to share details with early childhood educators about the Early Childhood Educator Pay Equity Fund, including how to apply, and answer their questions. Please tell early childhood educators in your network about these sessions and encourage them to attend. We have attached a flyer to this email that you can share with your network.

 

Information sessions will take place on:

 

• Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022 | 10-11:30 a.m.

The information sessions will be available in English, Spanish and Amharic.

 

The first information session will take place prior to the application launching and will help early childhood educators prepare for when the application is live. The second information session will take place after the application has launched to support early childhood educators in completing their applications. Early childhood educators may register to attend one or both sessions. Both sessions will be recorded and made available on OSSE’s website for individuals who cannot attend these times or wish to review information at a future date.

 

Early childhood educators may submit questions they would like answered during the information sessions to OSSE.DELCommunications@dc.gov.

¡Muchos educadores de la primera infancia en el DC son elegibles para recibir hasta $14,000 a través del Fondo de Equidad Salarial para Educadores de la Primera Infancia!

Las sesiones informativas estarán disponibles en inglés, español y amhárico.

 

La primera sesión informativa tendrá lugar antes del lanzamiento de la solicitud y ayudará a los educadores de la primera infancia a prepararse para cuando la solicitud esté activa. La segunda sesión informativa tendrá lugar después del lanzamiento de la solicitud para ayudar a los educadores de la primera infancia a completar sus solicitudes. Los educadores de la primera infancia pueden inscribirse para asistir a una o ambas sesiones. Ambas sesiones se grabarán y estarán disponibles en el sitio web de la OSSE para las personas que no puedan asistir a estos horarios o deseen revisar la información en una fecha futura.

የመረጃ ክፍለጊዜዎች በእንግሊዘኛ፣ በስፓኒሽ እና በአማርኛ ይገኛል።

 

የመጀመሪያው የመረጃ ክፍለጊዜ ከማመልከቻው መጀመር አስቀድሞ ይጀምራል እናም ማመልከቻው በቀጥታ ስርጭት በሚሆንበት ጊዜ ኤርሊ ቻይልድሁድ እንክብካቤ አስተማሪዎች እንዲዘጋጁ ይረዳቸዋል። ሁለተኛው የመረጃ ክፍለጊዜ የቅድመ ትምህርት ቤት አስተማሪዎች ማመልከቻዎቻቸውን እንዲያጠናቅቁ ለመርዳት ማመልከቻው ከጀመረ በኋላ ይካሄዳል። የኤርሊ ቻይልድሁድ አስተማሪዎች በአንድ ወይም በሁለት ክፍለጊዜዎች ለመመዝገብ ይችላሉ። እነዚህን ጊዜያት ላይ መሳተፍ ለማይችሉ ወይም ወደፊት ላይ መረጃን ለመገምገም ለሚፈልጉ ግለሰቦች ሁለቱም ክፍለጊዜዎች ይመዘገባሉ እና በOSSE ድህረገጾች ይገኛሉ

 

የኤርሊ ቻይልድሁድ አስተማሪዎች በመረጃ ክፍለጊዜዎች ወቅት እንዲመለሱላቸው የሚፈልጓቸውን ጥያቄዎች ለOSSE.DELCommunications@dc.gov ማስገባት ይችላሉ።
