The DC Council Committee of the Whole has announced a public hearing on Initiative 77 to be held on Monday September 17. Specifically, the hearing is on Bill 22-913, the “Tipped Workers Fairness Amendment Act of 2018,” which would repeal the Initiative. Chairman Mendelson released the following statement regarding the upcoming hearing
