DC Council Chairman Phil Mendelson released the following statement regarding today’s Ad Hoc Committee vote recommending expulsion of Ward 2 Councilmember Jack Evans from the Council:
On Tuesday November 6th Chairman Phil Mendelson, along with Councilmember Mary Cheh, held a press conference to address the release of the report from law firm O’Melveny & Myers, regarding the conduct of Ward 2 Councilmember Jack Evans.
The Chairman called the findings in the report “damning” and that there was “no good news” in it for Councilmember
