            The following measures are placed on the agenda for the September 17, 2025 Additional Legislative Meeting, at the request of the Mayor:

 

§  Salary Schedule Changes for Non-Union, Uniformed Police Officials of the Metropolitan Police Department Emergency Declaration Resolution of 2025

§  Salary Schedule Changes for Non-Union, Uniformed Police Officials of the Metropolitan Police Department Emergency Approval Resolution of 2025

 

Together, these resolutions approve a salary schedule that puts salaries for current non-union, uniformed police officials with the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) in parity with unionized, uniformed MPD police officials. The total cost of this legislation (including pension impact) will be approximately $31 million over the financial plan, which will be paid for out of the Workforce Investment account.
