RE:                  Request to Place Measures on the Agenda for January 9, 2024 Legislative Meeting

 

            This memorandum is to request that the following measure be placed on the agenda for the January 9^th, 2024 Legislative Meeting:

 

§  PR 25-537, the “Fiscal Year 2025 Budget Submission Requirements Resolution of 2023”

 

This is the Council’s annual specification of requirements related to the transmittal of the Mayor’s proposed budget. The measure includes the date (March 20, 2024) by which the Mayor shall submit the proposed budget, and the information and documentation that must accompany the proposal.

 

Councilmembers should let me or Jen Budoff know immediately if they want any changes to the resolution. This is the vehicle by which Members and committees can improve the information contained in the budget books and upon which we rely as we consider next year’s budget.
