The following measures are placed the June 12, 2024 additional legislative meeting agenda:

§ Bill 25-787, Fiscal Year 2024 Revised Local Budget Adjustment Emergency Act of 2024
§ Bill 25-788, Fiscal Year 2024 Revised Local Budget Adjustment Temporary Act of 2024
The measures listed above were introduced at the request of the Mayor on April 3, 2024 to support the Fiscal Year 2025 budget package; a primary purpose is to move dollars between Fiscal Years 2024 and 2025 to balance the Fiscal Year 2025 budget and financial plan. Emergency and temporary legislation is necessary to enact immediately proposed changes to the Fiscal Year 2024 budget prior to the end of the fiscal year. This legislation will align the current fiscal year budget with provisions of the Fiscal Year 2025 Local Budget Act of 2024 which will also be on the agenda for final reading. The temporary act will undergo congressional review but will be moot at the end of the fiscal year. The Committee of the Whole held a hearing on these measures on May 3, 2024.
Please note that I will move an Amendment in the Nature of a Substitute (ANS) for each of these items at next week’s meeting; the ANS versions will circulate on June 11, 2024.
