RE:                      Request to Place Measure on the Agenda for July 7, 2022 Legislative Meeting

 

               Please place the following measures on the agenda for the June 28, 2022 Legislative Meeting:

 

• Advisory Neighborhood Commission Boundaries Congressional Review Emergency Declaration Resolution of 2022
• Advisory Neighborhood Commission Boundaries Congressional Review Emergency Act of 2022

 

D.C. Act 24-439, the Advisory Neighborhood Commission Boundaries Emergency Act of 2022, will expire September 14, 2022. Although identical permanent legislation was approved by the Council on June 7, 2022 (D.C. Act 24-440), its congressional review is pending. A congressional review emergency is necessary to prevent a gap in legislative authority.
