            This memorandum is to request that the following measures be placed on the agenda for the January 6, 2026 Legislative Meeting:

 

§  Proposed Multiyear Contract No. GF-2025-C-0020 with TPM Group LLC Approval Resolution of 2025

 

This contract is between Tyson Project Management Group, LLC (TPM) and The University of District of Columbia (UDC). The contract has a FY2026 base period cost of $2,912,833.55 and four option years for a total cost not to exceed $15,447,657.41. Under the proposed contract, TPM will be responsible for providing janitorial and related services across approximately 1.2 million square feet of university property. The contract is performance-based, with explicit standards that allow UDC to ensure the provision of quality services. While this contract should not require active Council approval because it only exceeds $1M, it was inadvertently filed as a multiyear contract by the University. Thus, I intend to approve the resolution affirmatively after amending it to reflect that it is not, in fact, a multiyear contract.
