Mendelson Amendment to Bill 25-826 ANS

All,

Attached is an amendment the Chairman intends to move to the ANS for Bill 25-826 at today’s legislative meeting. The amendment makes changes to Section 6 of the ANS, requiring a plan for a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) for youth in the District rather than a feasibility study. It also revises the applicability language in Section 7 so that the plan is not subject to appropriation, as it the cost of any plan can be absorbed.
