Attached, please find an amendment sheet for the COVID-19 Response Supplemental Emergency Act of 2020 that Chairman Mendelson intends to move. The amendment addresses a concern expressed by several that the benefit of a mortgage deferral should flow to rent relief for both commercial tenants and residential tenants. Attached is the final document. We are running one more check for technical edits at an OGC level before I file the emergency bill, declaration, and temporary. We are past pencils down for any new proposals. The text the enrolled version of the March 17th emergency will be moved as an amendment to the temporary tomorrow so that provisions of both emergencies will align into a single temporary that will be used for future CRE purposes.
