Please place the following measures on the agenda for the February 7, 2023 Regular Legislative Meeting:

·       River East at Grandview Condominium Property Tax Exemption Congressional Review Emergency Declaration Resolution of 2023

·       River East at Grandview Condominium Property Tax Exemption Congressional Review Emergency Amendment Act of 2023

D.C. Act 24-636, the River East at Grandview Condominium Property Tax Exemption Emergency Amendment Act of 2023, expired on February 1, 2023. The temporary version of this legislation was transmitted to the Mayor on November 14, 2022, with a response due on November 29, 2022. The Mayor signed the legislation on November 22, 2022. The legislation was transmitted to Congress for passive review on January 10, 2023, and the projected law date is March 8, 2023. This congressional review emergency is necessary to prevent a gap in the law between the expiration of emergency measure and the effective date of the temporary measure.
